What to put in an activation readout deck

A short agenda that keeps product, growth, and compliance in the same conversation.

A ninety-minute activation readout fails when it opens with twenty slides of methodology. Open with the agreed definition, show the stage chart for one cohort, then spend the majority of time on three ranked friction hypotheses with owners attached.

Suggested agenda:

  1. Definition and exclusions (5 minutes)
  2. Stage conversion for the study cohort (15 minutes)
  3. Three friction hypotheses with evidence (40 minutes)
  4. Decision log — what ships, what waits, what needs legal (20 minutes)
  5. Parking lot (10 minutes)

Hand the written note out twenty-four hours before the meeting when you can. People argue less about surprising numbers when they have slept on them. If compliance cannot attend, record the decisions that touch KYC or funding limits and circulate them the same day — silent disagreement resurfaces in the next release.
